1. maintenance and repair
inspection and diagnosis: perform routine inspections and diagnostic tests to identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions or system failures.
troubleshooting: execute complex troubleshooting procedures to isolate problems in mechanical, electrical, or software components.
repair and replacement: repair or replace defective parts, components, or wiring using hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment.
preventive maintenance: conduct scheduled preventive maintenance (pm) checks to ensure systems operate at peak efficiency and to minimize unexpected breakdowns.
2. installation and calibration
setup: install, configure, and calibrate new equipment or systems according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
testing: run extensive tests on newly installed or repaired equipment to ensure proper operation before handover.
documentation: maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance work, repairs, part usage, and equipment performance logs.
3. safety and compliance
adherence to standards: follow all safety protocols, operational procedures, and regulatory compliance standards (., osha, iso, or industry-specific regulations).
work area: maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
