k9hr solutions is looking for cnc programmer as follows:

cnc programmer cum setter is responsible for setting up and operating cnc machines, as well as writing and optimizing the programs that control them. key duties include interpreting technical blueprints, setting up machines with tools and fixtures, adjusting machine parameters, running trial runs to verify accuracy, and monitoring production to ensure quality and precision. they must also perform quality checks on finished parts and report any issues.

core responsibilities

programming: write, test, and optimize cnc programs based on engineering blueprints and design models.

setup: install necessary tools, fixtures, and raw materials onto cnc machines (such as lathes, vmcs, and hmcs).

operation: set up and run machines, adjusting parameters and offsets to achieve required tolerances.

troubleshooting: identify and resolve issues with machine settings, tooling, or programs during trial runs and production.

quality control: perform first-piece inspections and monitor the quality of the finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.

maintenance: perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.

documentation: record keeping related to production and machine performance.

required skills and knowledge

technical skills: ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

programming knowledge: proficiency in writing and optimizing cnc programs for different machines and operations (turning, milling, etc.).

machine operation: experience with setting up and operating various types of cnc machines, including knowledge of machine components and safety procedures.

quality assurance: strong understanding of quality control principles and precision measurement.

soft skills: problem-solving, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
