Responsibilities:

Site Supervision & Management:

Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring work is carried out according to project plans, blueprints, specifications, and schedules.

Direct and supervise the work of skilled and unskilled labor, sub-contractors, and site staff.

Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.

Project Execution & Progress Monitoring:

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress against the established timeline and budget.

Identify potential delays or bottlenecks and implement corrective actions promptly.

Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to the Project Manager regularly.

Quality Control:

Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure all work meets specified quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular inspections of work performed and materials used.

Identify and rectify any deviations from quality standards.

Safety Management:

Strictly implement and enforce all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on site.

Conduct regular safety briefings, identify potential hazards, and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Ensure all necessary safety equipment is available and used correctly.

Resource Management:

Manage on-site inventory of materials, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.

Oversee the efficient use and maintenance of site machinery and equipment.

Coordinate with the procurement team for timely delivery of materials.

Drawing & Documentation:

Understand and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents.

Maintain accurate site records, daily progress reports, material consumption reports, labor attendance, and other relevant documentation.

Coordination & Communication:

Liaise effectively with the Project Manager, engineers, architects, clients, sub-contractors, and vendors.

Resolve site-related issues and conflicts efficiently and professionally.

Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings with the site team.

Problem Solving:

Proactively identify potential problems or challenges on site and implement quick, effective solutions to minimize impact on project timelines or quality.

Compliance:

Ensure all site activities comply with local building codes, labor laws, environmental regulations, and company policies relevant to Maharashtra and India.

Local Communication:

Communicate clearly and effectively with site labor, local vendors, and authorities in Marathi and Hindi. Good English proficiency is also essential for formal reports, communication with corporate teams, and understanding technical documents.
