role description: the mobile automation engineer would need to have at least 5 years of experience. 

roles & responsibilities:

• testing experience – must be willing and open to test and develop as this is a hybrid testing role, but is heavy on the testing side. candidates should be aware of the most up-to-date testing methodologies and techniques

• automation - engineers should be able to will put in some code to enable ui automation. minimum 3 years of experience in either ios or android native mobile app automation using one of the following tools android appium, espresso ios appium

• understanding of wireless technology – mobile test engineers should have extensive knowledge of wireless networks and the technology that governs them, such as gms, 3g, 4g, cdma, and lte

• mobile operating system knowledge – proficient mobile test engineers should understand common mobile operating systems (such as apple ios, android, and windows) and how to perform tests on them

• communication skills – mobile test engineers should feel comfortable working in groups and conveying their ideas to others in a professional and mature manner. they should also be capable of communicating their ideas in writing

• attention to detail – testing mobile devices and the software that runs on them requires a keen eye for detail. if even a single aspect of the testing process is overlooked, the outcome of the test can be greatly influence
