Job Description

key responsibilities

1. relationship management & customer service

act as the first point of contact for walk-in and mapped customers, providing personalized banking assistance and information.

handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests (., account opening, transaction processing, loan applications) efficiently and professionally, ensuring end-to-end resolution within defined turnaround times (tat).

utilize crm software to track all customer interactions, feedback, and service requests.

educate customers on alternative banking channels (., mobile banking, internet banking, whatsapp banking) to enhance service efficiency.

2. sales and business development

achieve assigned monthly/quarterly business budgets by promoting and selling the bank's retail banking and third-party products.

products typically include: savings/current accounts, fixed deposits (fds), loans, credit cards, life insurance, general insurance, and mutual funds.

identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities by conducting financial needs assessments and recommending suitable products/solutions.

generate referrals and leads for new customers (new-to-bank or ntb) through proactive engagement, networking, and customer visits outside the branch.

contact existing customers in the assigned portfolio to deepen relationships and mobilize deposits.

3. operations and compliance

ensure strict adherence to all banking regulations, internal policies, and know your customer (kyc) / anti-money laundering (aml) requirements.

process customer transactions and service requests accurately and on time.

maintain accurate and organized records and documentation for all customer accounts and transactions.

assist in maintaining optimum audit ratings for the branch.
