Dot Net Developer

STATUS: Full-Time

REPORTS TO: Manager

LOCATION: Sion, Mumbai

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Software Developer will assist in designing, installation, testing, and maintenance of software systems. You will be responsible for writing and coding individual programs or providing an entirely new software solution, also creating information systems by studying operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PRIORITIES

Reviewing current systems

Presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals

Working closely with analysts, designers and staff

Producing detailed specifications and writing the program codes

Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live

Design, run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purpose of correcting errors

Preparation of training manuals for users

Maintaining the systems once they are up and running

Preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities

Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures, collaboration with internal users and departments

Identify requirements with potential and actual clients to understand service requirements

Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans

Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
