blueprint interpretation: accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure correct tool geometry and dimensions.

quality control: inspect finished cutting tools for defects using visual inspection and measurement tools like micrometers and calipers.

maintenance: perform basic maintenance on the machines to ensure they are functioning correctly.

material handling: pull raw material for upcoming jobs.

required skills and qualifications

education: a diploma in mechanical engineering (dme), bachelor of engineering (be), or an iti certificate is often required.

experience: previous experience operating cnc grinding machines is highly preferred. experience with specific anca models (., mx5, mx7, fx5) is beneficial.

software proficiency: experience with anca tool room software and general cnc programming is necessary.
