Main job responsibilities : Total responsibility of packing related functions. Allocation of workmen on packing line in co-ordination with line officers and Engineers. Preparation of monthly plan according to planning meeting Completing production schedule as per the plan with optimum utilization of resources (Man & Machine). Monitoring of daily activities in packing department in order to achieve the plan. Planning of manpower requirement. Procurement of spares, accessories and new equipment\'s and machines of packing. Monitoring of preventive maintenance schedules and annual maintenance schedule of various packing machines like blister pack machine, carbonator , ink jet printer, etc. Conducting training program for Officers, Machine operator and workmen. Deviation handling and complaint investigation. Handing of rejects, on line rejections during packing operations and return goods. Handling of Standard Packing Material specification. Preparation of packing lists of various export consignment. Preparation of departmental SOPs with implementation and training of same. Preparation of Qualifications and re-qualifications of different equipment\'s and areas. Preparations of master protocol and reports of routine and non-routine validations and perform these validations. Perform unit operation study related to packing activities. To raise CERs of various equipment\'s and accessories required for packing department. To raise and approve the indent of material required for the department. Co-ordination with other departments like stores , engineering , tablet, capsule, quality control, quality assurance. Control of daily production output. Follow up with purchase department for procurement of equipment, spares, accessories and new machines. Suggestions for development in packing department in order to reduce the man power and do the automation. To handle and to perform any other assignment allocated by unit head. Change part ordering and co-ordination for new requirement
