A Leader in Interior Design and Furniture Manufacture in UAE Dubai, UAE The Role - Managing design / engineering department / designers, design coordinators and CAD technicians - Organizing the areas related to design, work shop drawings, programming and coordination. - Extensive Experience of Executing minimum of 100 Retail Stores ( Fashion & Luxury brands) - Chairs and minutes periodic design meetings with the clients, contractors and third party procurement agents as applicable. - Monitors and controls projects from inception to completion. - Coordinates and control shop drawings. - Follow and liaise with factory and project management. - Submits monthly progress, monitoring statement for each project. - Coordinates review engineering, assessments for alternative specifications . - Verifies completeness and adequacy of submittal reviews and RFI responses, and coordinates input from design coordinators. - Controls and distributes all engineering elements and progress within the design department. Requirements - Degree in Architecture or Interior design Mandatory - Minimum 10 years experience within the design / interior fit-out industry. - Able to manage design / technical engineering department. Serving multiple projects. - Strong personality, excellent communication skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work under pressure with active team spirit
