SARA Hotels & Apartments hires dynamic candidates as in the role of Business Development Officers (BDO), the major responsibility is to generate revenue by attracting customers from around the world to be guests at our establishment. Meeting with clients and arranging business deals are primary job responsibility. Leadership skills, a proven sales record, and presentation experience are mandatory for the position. He/ she is responsible for maximizing a hotel's revenues by developing programs to increase occupancy and make profitable use of its accommodation, meeting and leisure facilities. The BDO must maintain awareness of the factors that influence the hotel industry and gain a deep understanding of the needs and attitudes of a hotels customers and required to work closely with other hotel staff to ensure customers are satisfied with the facilities and their time there. Working irregular and long hours on both weekends and evenings if required, Travel locally, regionally, and nationally to meet with prospective guests and other sales managers to discuss business is often necessary. Due to the potential pressure to generate sales, hotel sales the candidates should be able to handle and manage stress appropriately. The BDO must be capable of creating and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with customers with the aim of clinching sales and lead to repeat business. Customer Relationships To build a stable revenue base and ensure high levels of repeat business, you need to develop strong customer relationships. A customer loyalty program and target program for guests or at corporate customers who require regular meeting facilities or accommodation for large numbers of traveling staff or visiting customers.
