Overview
India has the youngest population in the world and with the 2nd largest pool of English speaking youth in the world; India has the highest potential to cater to the skilled manpower of the country. At the same time, there is a huge potential to contribute to the skilled manpower needs of other countries as well. Government of India has strongly been emphasizing on upgrading the skills and employability of the youth through various initiatives. Formulation of National Policy on Skill Development and targeting 500 million to be trained and provided employability skills by 2022, shall contribute to meet the demand supply gap of the skilled human resource in the country
