Overview

As a business development manager, your ability to build and monetise relationships, a keen eye on the industry and your desire to bring about inclusive development by enabling careers for thousands of youth, will contribute to the multifold growth of the company. You will be responsible for creating strategic, revenue-based partnerships with various companies within service sector industries. By providing youth with jobs within these industries, we will earn placement fees from companies that will allow our business to grow! You will be on the constant lookout for business potential. This comprises avenues for us to find job placement opportunities for the youth we work with. You will continuously strategize, build and maintain a healthy funnel of opportunities for the company. You will be responsible for leveraging your industry knowledge and experience to target prospective partners and successfully close profitable revenue opportunities. A large part of your efforts will be directed towards ensuring that the 2000 youth, every four months, will get access to dignified jobs paying fair salaries. An essential part of your role will be to help employers believe in what we do and to ensure that they understand how bold our vision is. You will, of course, also understand what employers are looking for and help us create a synergy between the two. You will identify the right people to network with within organisations and will become the face of Green Batti within the corporate sector. Of course, you will also be responsible for ensuring that our revenue targets are met well in time (rest assured, with the support you require!). You will be the go-to person for anyone within the team who needs information on the industries and what the current demands are! You will be the essential link between us and our business partners.
