We are a boutique technology consulting company providing cost effective & top notch solutions to our customers by using latest technologies and tools. We are looking for a skilled MS Access / SQL developer with VBA skills. She will be part of core development team that creates an unique web, mobile & cloud solutions. Responsibilities and Duties ----------------------- This position requires a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Access, SQL, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and, good exposure to MS SQL Server development. The MS Access/SQL Developer is expected to perform analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications. Qualifications and Skills --------------------- - 2 years of experience in writing MS Access - Forms, tables, reports, queries, troubleshooting and maintenance of large enterprise level Access database applications - 1 year of VBA coding within an MS Access environment to develop and troubleshoot MS Access based applications - 1+ years experience in SQL coding skills - 1 year of experience with Microsoft SQL Server. (nice to have - not a required skill) - Knowledge in query writing, stored procedures, and database table/schema design. - Report writing experience (Access, SSRS, or other). - Interfacing with Quickbooks is a big plus, but not a required skill. - General coding experience in any one programming language (Visual Basic, C, C#, Java, etc.) is a big plus. - Ability to work independently and as a team player in fast paced dynamic software development/support environments. - Strong analytical skills for problem solving - Experience working in a team environment Benefits: -------- Salary as per company standards Collaborative team environment
