Overview
Responsibilities:
Translate and develop interactive graphics into a mobile website,
ensuring strong optimization and functionality.
Responsible for all aspects of the application lifecycle including
designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, implementing
and supporting custom developed applications.
Proactively seek ways to automate and streamline processes.
Perform problem solving and debugging techniques to help resolve
problems in all applications.
Support Senior Developers to accomplish project based tasks, with
moderate direction from Senior Developer(s).
Reports progress and provides technical assistance to the
application/project lead.
Properly document code, process, and end user functions.
Education/Experience:
Must have bachelor's/ master's in one of the following fields:
Computer Science, or related major.
Preference will be given to students with professional experience in
their field of study.
Technical Requirements:
Experience in server-side programming in .NET (C#), and PHP.
Database design, administration, and programming in MSSQL and MySQL.
Experience programming public-facing websites which are not necessary data-driven.
Experience developing responsible web design sites which are cross- browser compatible.
Experience installing, configuring, and optimizing IIS and Apache web servers.
Experience in client side programming in HTML (4/5), CSS (2/3), and JavaScript.
Experience programming responsive and adaptive websites for mobile platforms.
Experience with SVN, GIT, and/or other version control platforms. Preferred:
Experience in developing on CMS systems (SiteCore, TeamSite, Drupal, Wordpress), native iOS development (XCode IDE), android SDK environment (Java, Eclipse), C#, C++, RESTful/SOAP web services, APIs, and structured data (RSS/XML), IndexedDB, WebSQL, NodeJS, Neo4js.
