Planning and preparing the menu according to the seasonal requirement of the organization.

Ensure that all food items are prepared as per standard recipe cards whilst maintaining portion control and minimizing waste.

Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks to the kitchen staff

Supervising , motivating and working closely with other kitchen staff

Ensure that associate meals and associate dining services are of a consistently high standards.

Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.

Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering.

Ensuring proper food temperature when cooking and proper storage afterward.

Managing the kitchen inventory and ensuring supplies are fresh and of high quality.

Keeping the workstation and kitchen equipment clean, organized and sanitized.

Ensuring kitchen staff adhere to set standards, procedures, department rules and sanitation requirements.
