Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Operations/Counter Salesperson with extensive knowledge of the travel and tourism industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, handling travel packages, and creating holiday packages to ensure an exceptional travel experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Interaction:

Greet and assist customers at the counter with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Listen to customer inquiries, understand their travel needs, and provide suitable travel solutions.

Maintain a high level of customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

2. Package Handling:

Create and customize travel packages based on customer preferences and budget.

Collaborate with the sales team to promote and sell various travel packages.

Ensure accurate documentation and booking of travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and activities.

3. Supplier Coordination:

Establish and maintain relationships with travel suppliers, including airlines, hotels, and tour operators.

Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to optimize cost-effective travel packages.

Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

4. Holiday Package Creation:

Design comprehensive holiday packages that include transportation, accommodations, activities, and other services.

Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, and local attractions to offer unique and appealing packages.

Prepare detailed itineraries for customers and provide information on travel destinations.

5. Documentation & Administration:

Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer information.

Prepare invoices, receipts, and travel documents for customers.

Ensure compliance with all travel regulations and company policies.
