1. Technical Sourcing:

Identify and source engineering components, materials, and equipment required for projects.

2. Supplier Collaboration:

Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors.

3. Request for Quotations (RFQs):

Prepare and issue RFQs based on project requirements.

4. Negotiation and Contracting:

Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, including technical specifications, delivery schedules, and pricing.

5. Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain quality standards.

Conduct supplier audits and inspections to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

6. Project Coordination:

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other departments to understand project timelines and technical requirements.

7. Cost Management:

Monitor and control procurement costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

8. Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to technical specifications, purchase orders, and contracts.

9. Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate technical and supply chain risks.

10. Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement in technical sourcing and procurement.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience in technical procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.

Strong technical knowledge of engineering components and materials & machines pres. & tools.

Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

Familiarity with quality standards and specifications relevant to the engineering industry.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze technical requirements and make informed procurement decisions.

Proficiency in relevant software and tools for procurement and project management.
