ABOUT THE JOB::
The MICE Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) events for the company. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their event needs, and providing them with customized solutions. The MICE Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales targets, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure successful execution of events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain relationships with clients in order to understand their event needs and provide customized solutions.
Achieve sales targets by prospecting new business, following up on leads, and maintaining a pipeline of potential clients.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring profitability for the company.
Coordinate with internal departments (such as operations, finance, and marketing) to ensure successful execution of events.
Provide exceptional customer service, including timely responses to client enquiries and proactive communication throughout the event planning process.
Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competition.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field.
Proven sales experience in the MICE industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of event planning and execution, including logistics and vendor management.
Familiarity with sales and CRM software.
