Roles and Responsibilities

10+ years experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Procurement, etc. Specifically, the Automotive, Construction Equipment, OffRoad, and Mobile Industry is preferred. should have engineering experience in casted, forged & machined components . gears, shafts, worm wheels, pulleys, and various auto components manufacturing and related quality issues, and be able to perform dimensional tests and provide reports to validate parts will meet requirements. should have experience in Casting and Forging process. They should also be able to travel to the suppliers and validate sample orders as well as production orders. Additional exposure to handling different levels of suppliers to John Deere, Volvo & Caterpillar in the USA shall carry good weightage. Preferred companies: Ultra, JCB, John Deere, L&T, Wirtgen, Sany, Caterpillar, Volvo, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Volks Wagen, Bajaj

Key Responsibilities

1. Exploring new suppliers for forging, casting, machining, Gears & Shafts.

2. New supplier approvals, NDA signoff & registration based on Supplier site Assessment.

3. Involvement in technical review to estimate the best process cost.

4. RFQ handling, hand on experience in product and process costing 5. Suppliers Quote Comparison analysis, cost validation & negotiation with suppliers to meet the product/project target price. 6. Tool cost negotiation & finalization with supplier.

7. Continues tracking of RM prices trend & timely raw material price revisions as per market for forging & casting commodity

8. Suppliers financial assessment, Supplier derricking, and Suppliers Consolidation.

9. Define, develop, negotiate, and contract strategic sourcing solutions that meet businesses requirements and enhance profitability by controlling or reducing costs, improving payment terms, reducing inventory, and optimizing supply chain efficiencies.
