Job Title: Operations/Counter Salesperson

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Operations/Counter Salesperson

with extensive knowledge of the travel and tourism industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible

for coordinating with suppliers, handling travel packages, and creating holiday packages to ensure an

exceptional travel experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Interaction:

- Greet and assist customers at the counter with enthusiasm and professionalism.

- Maintain a high level of customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat

business.

2. Package Handling:

- Create and customize travel packages based on customer preferences and budget.

- Collaborate with the sales team to promote and sell various travel packages..

3. Supplier Coordination:

- Establish and maintain relationships with travel suppliers, including airlines, hotels,

and tour operators..

4. Holiday Package Creation:

- Design comprehensive holiday packages that include transportation,

accommodations, activities, and other services.

5. Documentation and Administration:

- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer information.

- Prepare invoices, receipts, and travel documents for customers.

- Ensure compliance with all travel regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the travel and tourism industry.

- Knowledge of travel destinations, local attractions, and travel trends.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for travel.

- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.

- Proficiency in travel booking software and computer systems.

- Negotiation skills for supplier interactions.
