Job Description

Driveline Design

Manager (Driveline Design)

Diploma/BE

10~12 Years experience

1) Roles & Responsibility:

1. Responsible for managing project related activities related to driveline.

2. Responsible for benchmarking, designing and integrating driveline system as per project need

3. Responsible for benchmarking, CAD, Drafting and designing driveline components and assemblies

4. Responsible for executing and documenting relevant design analysis and calculations of driveline components

5. Conversant with Romax/Kisssoft

6. Create 3D CAD and Drawings of components as per company process.

7. Support other functions in assembly/validation process.

8. SOP and BOM Creation

9. Conversant with different standards like DIN/ISO/JIS

2) Competencies/Skills:

1. Design Expertise in 3D CAD tools such as Creo

2. Design of transmission components like gear, shafts and bearing selection Candidate must have hands on experience in modelling of driveline components.

3. Knowledge of in transmission/axle driveline Preparation of 2D part/sub assembly drawings and 3D modelling Experience with standard transmission components and subsystem design, manufacturing technologies, and materials Strong knowledge of GD&T and FMEA

4. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with strong problem-solving.

5. Excellent communication skills

Understanding of belt chain drive selection and design is desirable
