Job Description

1. **Strategic Sourcing**: Identifying and engaging with suppliers to procure goods and

services. This involves researching and selecting vendors based on price, quality, and

delivery speed.

2. **Negotiation**: Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous

agreements. This includes discussing prices, shipment terms, and payment terms.

3. **Supplier Relationship Management**: Developing and maintaining relationships with

suppliers to ensure smooth procurement processes. They might also access and manage

supplier performance.

4. **Budget Management**: Overseeing and managing the purchasing budget. This includes

cost analysis and seeking cost-reduction opportunities.

5. **Process Improvement**: Implementing and improving purchasing systems and

processes. They may also be involved in developing and enforcing the organization's

procurement policies and procedures.

6. **Market Analysis**: Keeping up-to-date with market trends and product innovations. This

might involve attending trade fairs and networking events.
