Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on various materials and equipment using appropriate testing techniques such as radiography, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, eddy current, and visual inspection.

Interpret and evaluate test results to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

Prepare detailed reports of test findings and communicate them to stakeholders, including supervisors, clients, and engineers.

Develop and implement NDT procedures to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.

Train and supervise Level 1 NDT technicians on testing procedures and equipment operation.

Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Identify and report any defects or abnormalities found during testing to relevant stakeholders for further investigation and corrective action.

Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with NDT requirements during the production process.

Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and procedures governing NDT activities.

Requirements:

A Level 2 qualification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in one or more techniques, such as radiography, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, or eddy current.

Proven experience in conducting NDT testing on various materials and equipment.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations governing NDT activities.

Proficiency in using NDT equipment and software.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy in test results.
