We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ward Coordinator to join our organization to assist in implementing various projects aimed at child protection. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with children, families, and communities to form various groups, plan, organize and document various events, and establish networks with schools, hospitals, and other service sectors. The role requires experience in working with departments related to child protection, connecting communities with government schemes, and knowledge of mental health and counselling Skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Establishing reports with the children, families, and communities for the formation of various groups from the target intervention areas.
2. Assisting in the successful implementation of programs and activities planned.
3. Implementing project activities in the targeted intervention area.
4. Conducting sensitizations meetings for children, community stakeholders, and different child protection structures.
5. Assisting in planning, organizing and documenting various events and activities according to project plan.
6. Assisting in organizing various programs for stakeholders, allied systems being conducted under the project.
7. Visiting the Ward and Zone BMC Offices and Police Stations to coordinate with the BMC Officials, elected representatives, and child welfare police officers to discuss child protection issues.
8. Establishing networks and linkages with schools, hospitals, police units, and other functioning service sectors like DCPU, BMC, ICDS Centres, and other concerned departments to facilitate better services for children in need of care and protection. Working towards achieving project goals and objectives. Maintaining meeting minutes, training reports, and records related to activities. Preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
