Job Description

The Spa Manager is responsible for managing the

Spa/Salon as an independently profitable unit. The role involves active participation in

the instruction and training of both guests and staff, adhering to the standards outlined

in the operations manual.

Responsible to: Senior Management/ Spa Director

Responsible for:

Front Desk

Spa/Salon Employees

Attendants

Security Staff

Operational:

Maintain service standards and comply with company and Caelum Spa policies.

Conduct regular inspections of spa areas and equipment.

Oversee employees within the department, ensuring adherence to standards.

Conduct departmental induction programs for new employees.

Ensure compliance with regulations and local by-laws.

Conduct service and safety audits periodically.

Customers:

Ensure guest recognition and feedback with a positive attitude.

Implement waiver and release forms for customer facility use.

Exceed guest expectations in service standards.

Handle guest disputes discreetly.

Maintain guest attendance, history, and membership records.

Employee Handling:

Implement the induction of new employees.

Plan and implement effective skills training programs.

Conduct monthly employee evaluations.

Assist in building an efficient team and ensure employee welfare and development.

Ensure employee adherence to rules and regulations.

Create and maintain duty rosters, leave status, and attendance records.

Administration:

Complete all Caelum Spa records and forms as prescribed.

Maintain confidentiality of guest history and membership information.

Conduct communication briefings and meetings.

Prepare reports on facilities usage, employee productivity, consumables usage, etc.

Assets:

Ensure correct maintenance and use of Caelum Spa equipment.

Conduct monthly inventory of departmental assets.

Conduct monthly key inventory.

General:

Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned.

Respond to changes dictated by the industry,
