Responsibilities:

1. Robot Programming: Develop and modify robot programs using the programming languages specific

to KUKA, FANUC, ABB, and Kawasaki robot models. Ensure that the programs meet the required

specifications for spot welding, hemming, handling, and MIG welding applications on BIW lines.

2. Application Optimization: Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize robot applications for

increased efficiency, accuracy, and cycle time reduction. Continuously improve the programming code

to enhance the performance of the robots.

3. System Integration: Integrate the robotic systems with the overall production line, including conveyor

systems, sensors, and other automation equipment. Ensure seamless communication and coordination

between the robots and other components for smooth operation.

5. Safety Compliance: Implement and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while programming

and operating the robots. Conduct risk assessments and take necessary precautions to mitigate any

potential hazards associated with robotic operations.

6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of robot programs,

configurations, and operational parameters. Generate reports on robot performance, downtime, and

any programming changes made to facilitate analysis and continuous improvement.

7. Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to production and maintenance teams

regarding robot programming, operation, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with other departments to

address any technical concerns and ensure effective knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting KUKA,

FANUC, ABB, and Kawasaki robots, specifically in BIW lines. Proficiency in spot welding, hemming,

handling, and MIG welding applications is essential.

2. Programming Skills: In-depth knowledge of programming languages specific to KUKA (KRL), FANUC

(KAREL), ABB (RAPID), and Kawasaki
