The planning Engineers role is to mainly support the Project Manager and Project team with information to execute the project in time and within the budget allocated.

2) Preparation of Project Schedule (Tools used: Primavera, MS Project, etc.,) covering the entire scope and within defined timelines

3) Calculating Optimal Material requirement, Manpower Requirement (of various trades) & Machinery Requirement

4)Create Cash flow analysis (., Expected billing (cash inflow) vs. Expected cash outflow)

5)Coordinate with various departments like Engineering (who provides working drawings), Procurement (who buys materials), Contracts (who awards contracts & raises any issues with the client), quality (who maintains) & Commissioning Departments.

6)Planning Engineers are responsible for preparation of realistic work completion programme and all activities associated with the preparation and periodic progress reporting of Level 1 and Level 2 schedules

7)Preparation of MIS and compare it with scheduled programmes.

8)Support the project teams with all planning-related responsibilities associated with the management of their contracts and reporting requirements

9)Participates and supports the project teams in project and programme planning and progress meetings.

10)Identifies and maintains programme/project milestones and schedule interface activities

11)Monthly site visits.

12)Monitoring construction activities on a periodic basis.

13)Prepare project progress reports. (Weekly and monthly)

14)Preparation of schedules, Micro Schedule for the execution of work

15)Preparing status reports for the progress of the work.

16)Responsible for preparing daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and preparing the planned V/s actual.

17)Planning & Co-coordinating of construction material, manpower & equipment as per the requirement with the Execution Team.

18)Work closely with senior management to develop strategic plans
