Responsibilities

Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports

Provide financial advice and support to clients and colleagues

Perform audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards

Develop and implement financial systems and procedures

Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement

Review and reconcile balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts

Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws

Conduct internal audits to assess financial performance and identify areas for improvement

Train and mentor junior staff members on accounting principles and techniques

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in commerce or a related field

Professional certification as a Chartered Accountant

Proven experience as a Chartered Accountant or similar role

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards

Proficient in financial analysis and auditing techniques

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Strong ethical standards and confidentiality principles
