Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, analysing financial data, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations of our Indian as well as Canadian accounts. The accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes within the organization. An accountant will be handling both our Indian A/c as well as Canadian A/c.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.

Tally Software.

Zoho Accounting Software. (zoho Books)

Experience:

2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Experience with Tally & Zoho Books (Accounting Software).

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze revenues, commissions, and expenses to ensure proper recording every month.

Assist in analyzing financial statements monthly and report on variances.

Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.

Accurately type, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.

Prepare bank deposits, post entries to the general ledger, and reconcile statements.

Daily data entry of financial transactions into the database.

Provide assistance and support to company personnel.

Research, track, and resolve accounting or documentation discrepancies.

Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.

Function following established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.

Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
