Monitor and Control Systems:

Operate and monitor the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure the proper functioning of various building systems.

Monitor HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, lighting systems, security systems, fire detection systems, and other critical infrastructure.

Respond to alarms and system notifications promptly, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.

Adjust system settings and parameters to optimize energy efficiency and comfort levels within established guidelines.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Conduct routine inspections of the BMS and associated equipment to identify and resolve potential issues.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as calibrating sensors, replacing batteries, and cleaning equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, coordinating with the maintenance team or external vendors for repairs and replacements as needed.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, equipment condition, and any recommended improvements.

Reporting and Documentation:

Generate regular reports on system performance, energy usage, and equipment status.

Document alarms, incidents, and actions taken in the BMS logbook or electronic systems.

Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for BMS operations and emergency response protocols.

Collaborate with the management team to analyze data and provide recommendations for system optimization and cost-saving measures.

Emergency Response:

Act as a point of contact for emergency situations, such as fire alarms or system failures, and coordinate appropriate responses.

Follow established emergency procedures, including notifying the necessary personnel, conducting system shutdowns or isolations if required, and assisting in evacuations.

Collaborate with security and maintenance staff during emergency situations to ensure the safety of occupants and the protection of property.
