To lead and develop a team of engineers to design precision assemblies including electrical servomotors, gearboxes and allied accessories for industrial applications.
To coordinate, review and monitor the progress of development projects
Review and develop components, subassemblies and complete motor assemblies based on PEPL standards and customer specifications
Complete Mechanical Design of individual components of Brushless DC servomotors, AC servomotors and associated gearboxes either from basic design principles or by way of reverse engineering.
Interface the Mechanical design with Electrical Design Team and bought out accessories.
Review of Drawings, datasheets or specifications regarding content for easy and cost-effective manufacturing and conformity to customer specifications and design codes.
Preparation of Development Plan / Schedule, balance the workload within team, follow up with Production and sub suppliers/component manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of Prototypes.
Proactive communication with Marketing Heads / Profit Centre Heads for interfacing with End customer for Testing and Approval of Prototype.
To guide and train a team of engineers to prepare manufacturing drawings of precision components for motors and gearboxes.
Ensure strict compliance with company policies
Well conversant with AutoCAD and SolidEdge for Drafting and Modelling, or other 3D design systems
Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes
Certificate in AutoCAD and SolidEdge
Familiarity with ERP system
Project Management Exposure
Good command over English Language for written & oral communication.

Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
