The software developer plays a key role in the Development team at Tk20 by writing clean and efficient code, which forms the foundation of the Tk20 software application. He/she also contributes to the evolution of the software and the success of the company by using analytic and problem-solving skills to collaborate in research and special projects. DO Key Responsibilities 1.Write clean, efficient code that meets both feature and performance requirements using Java, SQL & MVC frameworks. 2.Analyse the root cause of bugs in the application and provide solutions. 3.Consistently complete projects according to the deadline assigned without sacrificing quality. 4.Collaborate with team members on third-party integrations as needed. 5.Collaborate with team members on research projects as needed. 6.Contribute to technical design documentation including flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and pseudo-code. 7.Communicate and provide proof of concepts for any recommended changes to the code base. 8.Re-factor existing code to meet requirements for performance and maintenance. 9.Mentor software engineer trainees on subjects related to the Tk20 software application and legacy code in the system. 10.Recognize and escalate issues to team leads and managers when problems arise that require attention from other teams and/or customer communication. 11.Communicate effectively on a daily basis with team leads and managers via status emails to share critical information, provide updates, respond to doubts, etc.
