Overview
We are looking for a competent person who can help run the Udupi office of a 11-room wildlife resort and generally assist the lady proprietor. Responsibilities include replying to all booking enquiries by email or telephone, managing files, letters and accounts, assisting in a marketing strategy, and interacting with travel agents in Delhi. This is a full-time position based near Karkala near Udupi. A salary will be negotiated according to qualifications and experience. Benefits include Medical and Accident insurance.
Skills Required:
Good written English, and extraordinary communication skills;
Computer skills, including Word, Excel, and emailing;
Demonstrated ability to write clearly and compellingly;
Ability to think and work independently;
Ability to interact effectively with the travel industry
Experience in the hospitality and travel industry and an interest in wildlife would be beneficial. The job would best suit a mature person who is looking for an enjoyable, long-term position.
Key Skills: Good written English and computer skills, including email.
