About the role You would be required to support the Finance Manager by supervising the Accounts Receivable team. The team is responsible for the collection of the businesses corporate debtors, maximising working cash flow, updating the general ledger and shipping documentation systems and developing sound customer and stakeholder relationships. Some of the key responsibilities and accountabilities: Invoicing Procedures: Invoices are checked against manifests and relevant tariff schedules Issue customer invoices via SAP and SwireShip Ensure current credit terms are updated into SwireShip by Credit Desk Monitor and reconcile debtors accounts, prepare and issue regular statements to customers Supervise and monitor debtors to maximise working cash flow Prepare weekly cash flow forecast and debtor reports for management Ensure all 60 days accounts has appropriate commentary Investigate and process freight refunds, including the update of SwireShip and arrangement of refund payments Daily processing of receipts into SwireShip according to remittance advices Supervision of the AR team including, developing direct reports, challenging existing processes and implementing best practices where applicable Skills / experience required: Previous shipping / freight forwarding experience (mandatory) Minimum 5 years Accounts Receivable experience and recent supervisory experience is (preferred) Working proficiency with SAP (debtor functions), MS Office - Outlook, Excel and Word Demonstrated ability to deal with large volume of data with a strong attention to detail Excellent phone manner, be results motivated, tenacious and a real team player Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to push back - firm but fair Ability to meet deadlines Culture & benefits: Staff incentives Corporate Health Plan TO APPLY: Interested Candidate send your complete documents (C.V, Qualification Details, Work-experience Details, Passport front page
