Overview
Responsibilities:
-Plan, conduct, and manage the analysis of complex business issues to be solved with process changes and information systems.
-Apply a broad knowledge of various business processes and functions and technical expertise to accurately anticipate organizational impacts.
-Must be able to facilitate business requirements gathering and definition in various formats including joint collaboration sessions with business and IT, targeted Q&A sessions with multiple Subject Matter Experts, and one-on-one user interviews in order to provide solutions that meet business and user needs.
-Experience working on Scrum teams in translating Epics\high level requirements into actionable, groomed user stories (including Given, When, Then criteria)
-Analyze business partner operations to understand their strengths / weaknesses and determine opportunities to improve / automate processes and functions.
-Follow SDLC and project management life cycle and best practices, comply with internal Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and other compliance related processes and adhere to Change Control and Problem Management procedures.
-Experiences with both Agile (Scrum required) and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
-Content Tracking,experience in tracking content deliverables and gaps for Internet based applications.
-Hosting daily meetings with the business to review the list and update status,experience assisting development teams with clarifications around design.
Required Skills:
-Minimum of 5 or more years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
-Experience working in an Agile environment and experiences in Waterfall as well (end to end project experience is ideal, the more Agile\Scrum, the better).
-Financial services industry experience is a must; specific experiences with building Brokerage, Advisory Services, Managed Accts and\or Wealth Management software (experience in at least one of these areas required, the more the better).
