North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC) is an autonomous body set up under the joint initiative of Department of Space (DOS) and the North Eastern Council (NEC). Qualification & Experience: Essential : M.E/M.Tech in Civil or Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Hydrology/Water Resources or equivalent with B.E/B.Tech in Civil or Agricultural Engineering as prequalification OR M.Sc in Geography/Geology/Environmental Science/RS & GIS with specialization/Dissertation in River/fluvial morphology/Flood Modelling and related areas or equivalent with NET/GATE or equivalent OR M.Sc in Geography/Geology/Environmental Science/RS & GIS with specialization/Dissertation in River/fluvial morphology/Flood Modelling and related areas or equivalent with N-JET in RS & GIS Specialization OR M.Tech in Geography/Geology/Environmental Science/RS & GIS with specialization/Dissertation in River/fluvial morphology/Flood Modelling and related areas or equivalent. Desirable : Working experience in relevant areas. Age Limit : Maximum Age 28 years as on 14.06.2018 (date of walk-in interview) but relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC candidates.
