Overview
National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (an autonomous Institution under Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India) is responsible for co-ordinating the Indian Antarctic Expeditions. NCPOR is looking for trained manpower on contract basis for its Research bases in Antarctica for the season 2019-2021 as per details given below:
Qualification and Experience : Diploma in engineering (Instrumentation/ Electronics/ electrical/ mechanical) or Bachelor degree in Physical Sciences/ Instrumentation with minimum two years relevant experience in handling scientific laboratory equipment as laboratory attendant or project assistant or technical/scientific assistant or equivalent.
Preferable Experience : Operation and maintenance of scientific laboratory & equipments.
