Overview
1. Assist in activities of installation, testing & commissioning as well as providing training & maintenance assistance while in use for UF Filtration Plants in rural areas
2. Carryout periodic inspection of installed Filtration Units and promptly submit status reports along with details of corrective and preventive actions required.
3. Review and update format of installation report to make it more useful
4. Carryout analysis of raw and treated water as required and keep management informed on the outcome as well as actions, if any, need to be taken based on the results
5. Maintain regular communication with Operator of installed plants
6. Organize to provide promptly spare parts required as well as develop locally where feasible vendors for supply of spare parts
7. Organize filing system so that document required can be retrieved easily by all concerned.
8. Provide safe back up for both soft and hard copies of important documents
9. Understand specifications of the equipment as well as details of the process including specification of spare parts
10. Prepare necessary documentation for training which should include the following:
a. Dos and Donts
b. Sketch of equipment with part duly labelled
c. Format of reporting daily activities of field staff
d. Criteria for decision on chlorine wash based on parameters of water
e. Marking of direction of opening of valves
11. Assist in carrying out survey of likely locations where the plant can be installed and utilized effectively
12. Assist in carrying out analysis of failures or non-use of plants with support of field staff and suggest corrective and preventive actions
13. Provide scrutiny and certifications for bills from contractors as well as procurement of parts to enable release of payment
