Urgent looking for System Administrator with one of the renowned Investment advisory company in Indore Compensation: Best in the Industry Educational qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate (Any) Role: System Admin Functional Area: Network Administration, Security Job Description Manage Linux Server Perform daily system monitoring of Linux environment Identify, analyze and troubleshoot issues in the IT infrastructure systems/components related to Linux Plan and deploy enterprise-wide OS/application patches and upgrades on regular basis Maintain & operate the Linux infrastructure environment as per procedures Overseeing & ensuring proper maintenance & upkeep of computer systems and integrated systems & wi-fi, server rooms etc Good knowledge of Routintg , Switching and Subnetting Execute the implementation steps of a project as per laid down plan Work closely with team members to manage work flow and communication Candidate Profile Good knowledge of overall infrastructure technical knowledge & troubleshooting methodologies in Linux, preferably Red Hat Knowledge of IT monitoring software that is typically used in the industry Basic knowledge on backup and storage technologies, e.g. netbackup Installing and configuring Linux/Unix Experience with TCP/IP networking Experience with routers Knowledge of UNIX/Linux shell scripting Good communication skills in English (spoken & written)
