We are looking for a public transport data collector for Kolkata. You will gather information for public transport routes in Kolkata from transport operator websites and then use this information to map out the stops, routes and add timetables to a web mapping platform. If the information needed to check any route is not available online, we provide a mobile mapping tool for you to record the information as you travel on the bus/train route, it is highly likely you will need to travel on buses and physically go to bus stops to collect data in Kolkata. -You to use our online mapping platform to map all of Kolkatas public transport routes -There are approximately 150 routes (CSTC routes, Kolkata Suburban -Railway routes, the Kolkata Metro and Trams) -You may need to travel on public transport routes in the city of Kolkata -You will be provided with full online training -This task would ideally suit a university student, someone who is currently employed in a part-time position or someone between jobs
