Overview
A New York based firm specialising in corporate transactions is expanding and is looking for an on-line legal associate to work with us.
Tasks would include, for example, drafting and revising:
1) Purchase and sale agreements
2) LLC agreements
3) Stock purchase agreements
4) Creating structure charts
5) Confidentiality agreements
6) Corporate governance documentation
7) Other corporate / transactional documents
8) Reviewing and summarizing key terms of contracts that the client is considering entering into.
Excellent position for someone looking for serious corporate legal experience.
Law degree and law school training is preferred and a technical background is also welcome.
The position is expected to be 20-40 hours per week.
Candidates available and willing to work on U.S. business hours and/or weekends will be given special consideration, though not mandatory.
