-Responsible for achieving production targets -Develop or update standard operating procedures and best practices for production operations. Ensure that all equipment, materials and supplies are readily and continuously available to carry out production processes -Identify all issues in team and provide continuous support to all workers according to operating standards. -Ensure necessary investigation and corrective/ preventive actions for deviations occurring during manufacturing activities. -The Candidate will be heading all the Production activities of precision machined components / assemblies for engineering / automotive and consumer industry. -Raw material planning/manpower planning/production planning -Hands on experience on conventional & CNC machines (Turing, milling, grinding, etc) operating. -Plans sequence of manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers and Prepare the process sheets and work instructions for all production activities -Prepares production reports. -Prepare lists of required materials, tools, and equipment. -Monitoring performance and making sure targets are met -Planning & designing new production processes -Able to overcome bottlenecks and to implement new techniques to improve the productivity. -Optimizing the utilization of men and equipment -Rejection monitoring and rejection analysis in order to achieve minimum rejection level to improve productivity, quality and to reduce rework cost -To maintain Zero accident in shop floor -Ensure 5S and discipline on shop floor and maintaining production equipment -Responsible for coordination between cross functional teams. -Responsible to integrate safety principles into work practices by enforcing safe operating system and ensure safety of people and Machineries. -Periodically review the processes or methods of operations to ensure there are no deviations -Working knowledge of fixtures and gauges for conventional and CNC Machines.
