Quantity Surveyor / Construction Estimator We are a leading construction company for public projects in California. We are seeking to employ 2 Quantity Surveyors/ Estimators, to perform offshore estimation work in Mumbai. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in the field of commercial construction, with degree level qualification, Civil Engineering preferred. Knowledge of various construction trades like Framing, Sheet Rock, Plumbing, Electrical, Concrete, HVAC, Interior Renovation etc. is a must. Successful candidates will be responsible for preparing multiple construction project material take-offs and estimates from drawings, with assistance from project managers and sub-contractors in the USA. Familiarity with various construction trades for at least 5 years is required. Past hands on experience in commercial construction projects is required. Knowledge of MS Office is a must. Responsibilities include: Work with project managers, subcontractors, and obtain estimates. Prepare take offs for materials from the project drawings Consolidate estimates from various subcontractors for the entire project Refine estimates based on feedback from clients project managers Handle change order estimates. Remuneration Package: Negotiable based on experience and knowledge.
