Overview

We are a Toronto, Canada based hospitality firm with two restaurant locations in Toronto, Canada. For our current operations and planned growth, we are looking to expand our team. Currently we have an immediate opening for an Assistant Restaurant Manager for our Toronto location. Experience: Minimum 3-5 Years experience supervising in fast-paced environment. Language: English skills Work Setting: Restaurant, Person should be able to work in day, evening, night, weekend and or on call. Key resposibilities: -Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations, -Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices, -Respond to customer complaints, -Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, -Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance, -Train staff and supervise staff, -Should be customer service oriented. -Must have knowledge of Indian cuisine to be explain the various dishes and curries to the customers -Should be able to understand customer's specific requirements, religious accommodations and dishes specific to various Indian festivals Candidates from India working in fine dining restaurants and restaurants of 5* hotels are welcome to apply. Company will consider sponsoring a work permit for the right candidate. Job Type: Full-time
