Overview
Applications in the prescribed form are invited upto 30th April 2018 from Indian nationals for direct recruitment through written test for filling up of the posts of
Technical Assistant in Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)-Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC), Port Blair, as detailed below.
Qualification : (i) First class three years Bachelors degree in relevant subject from a recognized University. Or (ii) First Class Bachelors degree with Microbiology or Anthropology as a one of the core subject from a recognized University.
Application Fee : Non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100/- is payable by the candidates under OBC category in the form of crossed demand draft of any nationalized
Bank drawn in favour of Director, RMRC (ICMR), Port Blair payable at Port Blair. PwD & Women candidates belonging to SC/OBC category to which the posts are revised are exempted from payment of application fee.
Age Limit : 1) Not exceeding 35 for SC candidates and 33 years for OBC candidates. 2) Age relaxation is also allowed to Scientific and Technical Staff working in
long term projects in ICMR Institutes/Centers as per the Indian Council of Medical Research under Health Research Scientific Cadre-2007 and Technical Cadre Integrated Recruitment and Assessment Rules-2007.
