The historical reasons necessitating the formation of individual cantonments are different for different cantonments depending upon the prevailing political and military realities of the times.
Essential Qualifications : Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Age as on Closing Date of Application i.e.04-07-2018 : OBC 25 Years + 3 years
Age Relaxation in addition to above mentioned upper age limits (Physically Handicapped) : 25+3+10 years.
Ex-Servicemen : OBC: 06 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age on the date of reckoning.
Departmental candidates with three years continuous service in Cantonment Board,Kanpur : Upto 43 year
