About Indian Institute of Soil Science
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow in Indian Institute of Soil Science.
Qualification : M. Sc. in Microbiology/ Agricultural Microbiology with minimum 60% marks for general & OBC category and 55% for SC/ST/PH in aggregate (or equivalent grade) with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having Post Graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree must have N.E.T. / GATE qualification
Desirable : 1. Experience in isolation and characterization of bacteria. 2. Use of molecular techniques in soil microbial analysis. Good working knowledge of computers, data analysis, report preparation.
Age Limit : Upto 28 years as on the date of written test & interview for general Category. Age relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST/PH and 3 years for women candidates and OBC (Non-creamy layers).
