WordPress Developer

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 yrs. experience building large-scale web sites and applications in WordPress.

The successful candidate should have the ability to develop high-quality code in developing successful business websites online.

Develops and Delivers Quality Web pages within the given timeline Resolves and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.

Primary Responsibilities:

In partnership with technical leads, helps to deliver for our technology practice.

Delivers by example and advances our growing WordPress practice.

Responsible for various aspects of ongoing support and maintenance engagements.

Interacts with project managers and other web developers to successfully collaborate and complete the given tasks..

Turns design and user interface mockups into functional websites powered by CMS.

In a hands-on fashion, ensures all technology solutions are properly architected and specified.

Skills:

Candidate must have an in-depth working knowledge of WordPress and developing Custom Themes

Creation of Word Press plugins/widgets written according to PHP coding standards.

Knowledge of built in WordPress functions.

Ability to fully develop and maintain a website in WordPress and can install and configure WordPress plugins

Working experience on Pantheon environment preferred

In-depth hands on - database technologies and MySQL Optimization.

Great Troubleshooting / Problem solving skills

Hands-on in PHP, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery

Must have experience in deploying or production support.
