Sr. Wordpress Developer:

Job Description

Develop new sites using WordPress

Assist the Lead Developer in shaping and implementing the WordPress platform strategy for the project

Collaborate closely with the Lead Developer focusing on the scaling and resilience of Futures high-profile and high-traffic WordPress sites

Create bespoke plugins and developing modules for WordPress

Maintain existing sites

Liaise and interface with clients & stakeholders

Document technical and functional specifications

Provide technical consultancy services to stakeholders

Liaise with IT and Systems departments to put best practice

Ensure that we meet commercial go-live deadlines

Mentor to junior developers.

Job Specification:

At least three WordPress applications deployed in the marketplace

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-effort, dynamic work environment

Strong technical and design skills with a passion for Web technologies

Fast learner of new and emerging technologies

Self-motivated with the ability to drive features to delivery

Solid written and verbal communication, presentation, and listening skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences

Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a cross-functional team environment

Experience : 1 - 3 Years
