Position Student Visa Counsellor

Roles & Responsibilities:

Conduct Comprehensive Counselling sessions with individuals and their parents or guardians to understand their preferences, requirements, and objectives.

Provide detailed information regarding visa prerequisites, application procedure, processing times, and documentation required for a particular country, and clarify any concerns they may have.

Oversee and assist students in preparing and organizing essential admission and visa application documents. Serve as a point of contact between students and the backend team, ensuring submission within specified deadlines.

Help students demonstrate financial solvency to support studies and living expenses, as required by regulations. Provide guidance on acceptable forms of financial documents and strategies.

Guide students through the visa application forms, scheduling visa appointments, paying application fees, and tracking the status.

Stay updated on changes in immigration laws, visa policies, and procedures in various destination countries. Advise students on any recent updates or developments that may affect their visa applications.

Identify potential risks or challenges in the process. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and increase the likelihood of positive outcomes

Assist students in managing unexpected complications and setbacks, providing effective and expeditious resolution

Ensure compliance with regulations, ethical standards, and best practices in visa counselling. Provide accurate and honest advice to students, avoiding misrepresentation or fraudulent practices.

Provide excellent customer service to students by addressing their concerns promptly, professionally, and empathetically. Build trust and rapport with students to enhance their overall experience and satisfaction

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Counselling, the Visa industry, or related fields is preferred.
